Labor Day Fun

Well today I decided to spend the day making cards. I fell and sprained my ankle a few days ago which has put a damper on any weekend fun...except to sit and make creative cards. This card I call "Bird in a Bush" I hope you enjoy it.

I used Whisper white card stock and stamped the script in so saffron. Then i sponged so saffron around edges and also lightly all over the script, to give it some antiqued look. I used the sizzix vine branch and cut the branches to fit my card. I hand cut the bird, then stamped another bird so I could cut just the wing out and use a dimensional to pop it off the card. Small mini flower punch was used for the flowers. To give it just a little bling, I used clear jewels for the eye and centers of flowers

Paper : SU So Saffron, Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Primrose Petals and Rich Razzleberry
Ink: SU So Saffron and Rich Razzleberry
Punches SU: Itty Bitty Punch-flower, Word Window, Modern Label and Sizzix - branch
Stamps: SU Betsy's Blossoms, Teeny Tiny Wishes, and inkadinkadoo - script
